ALBUQUERQUE – Easter Monday, April 21, 2025–IMMEDIATE RELEASE— A statement from Most Reverend John C. Wester, Archbishop of Santa Fe, on the Passing of Pope Francis

Our parish has greatly benefited from renting out the rectory, which has provided essential financial support. However, this has left our Pastors living in rental locations. Father Anthony and a volunteer group, including Pastoral and Finance Council members, will start a fundraising campaign to secure permanent housing for the Pastor in the Pena Blanca area. This effort is approved by the archdiocese. Please contact the office to donate or share sponsor contacts. Donation envelopes are available at all Masses and the Church office. Thank you.

The church office will be closed Wednesday, April 16 through Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Office hours will resume on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Phone messages will be monitored for emergencies.

The Mayordomos of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in Peña Blanca are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, April 6, 2025 in the Parish Hall. The dinner will be from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Food is available to eat in or take out.

Father Anthony will be hearing confessions at 10 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Santo Domingo Mission, in Kewa Pueblo.

Daylight Saving Time starts on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 am. Set clocks forward by one hour. Starting on March 15, 2025, the Saturday Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 pm. Confessions and Adoration will begin at 5:00 pm.

Please join us in celebrating Father Anthony’s birthday on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 4:30pm. The celebration will be held in the Parish Hall in Peña Blanca. A Nigerian food menu will be provided. This is not a potluck. Come join us in fellowship and celebration of Father Anthony's Birthday.

Beginning on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 through May 2025 daily Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel each Tuesday at 5:00pm and each Wednesday at 9:00am.

A big thank you to Father Leo Fisher, CFR, for filling in for Father Anthony while he was on vacation. Thank you for being a blessing and a part of our parish family. We look forward to your next visit. You always have a home here!

The next St. Vincent de Paul Our Lady of Guadalupe, Peña Blanca Food Distribution is scheduled for Saturday February 8, 2025 at 10:00 am. Please note the time change. The new time will be in effect through this winter. See you then!
