The Annual Catholic Appeal campaign has begun. Please refer to Father Anthony’s letter in the bulletin for more information. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
First Saturday of the Month
Father Anthony will offer Birthday Blessings to everyone celebrating a birthday. He will also anoint anyone who would like anointing after Mass. Please join in on the full Benediction that can be found on the back page of the missal.
Note to Lectors: The lectionary will be in the sacristy during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament if you want to quickly look at the readings. This will allow for continued reverence and quiet during the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Lectors are encouraged to take a copy of the hardbound missal books to read at home. The books are at the entrance of the Church.
Addition to Offertory Hymn: As Father Anthony receives the gifts, the hymn “Bendito, Bendito” will be sung while he is accepting the gifts and returning to the altar for consecration. You can find Bendito, Bendito in the Flor y Canto hymnal, #629. The offertory hymn will continue once he gets to the altar.
The Lord’s Prayer will be sung during each Saturday Vigil Mass beginning February 4th.
Lent is a few weeks away. Schedule of Masses, Stations of the Cross, Lenten Mission and Holy Week is forthcoming.
Mass Times in the Missions: St. Bonaventure in Pueblo de Cochiti will celebrate Mass on Sundays at 8:30am; and San Felipe will celebrate Mass at 10:00am beginning 2/5/2023. Both pueblo remains closed to the public.
